The Imperial Prostate Foundation and Imperial Prostate Research Group invite teams of students from school years 11, 12 and 13 in London, UK to submit an illustrated e-poster answering the question:  

Which area of cancer research shows the most promise and why?

The chosen top ten submissions will be invited to give a 5 minute presentation to our prestigious Imperial College London based clinical and research team.

1st prize - £500
2nd prize - £300
3rd prize - £200

What is the topic of the poster?
Please answer the question: ‘Which area of cancer research shows the most promise and why?’ Individual cancers (e.g. lung, blood, skin etc) may be used as examples, but the question relates to cancer in general

Who is eligible to enter?
Students in years 11, 12 and 13 who are currently attending school in London, UK

How many people can I have in my team?
Teams must be a minimum of two students, and a maximum of four, with one supporting teacher

How many teams can we have within our school?
Submissions are limited to one per school

Can I include photos as well as illustrations?
Yes!

Can I use a personal email address in the submission form?
No, please use your school email address (supporting teacher), as we will use this as our point of contact

What format should I send my poster in?
Acceptable formats include .pdf, .jpg, .png, .doc, .pptx. - please reach out to admin@imperialprostatefoundation.org if you are still unsure

What is the (file) size limit for my poster?
The maximum file size you will be able to upload is 10MB

Nothing happens when I click ‘Submit’?
Please reach out to admin@imperialprostatefoundation.org if you are having trouble uploading your submission

When is the deadline?
We will stop accepting submissions at midnight on the 31st December 2023

Are we able to join the presentation virtually?
No, the presentation is an in-person event which will be held at Imperial College London, South Kensington in February 2024
